Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  How are you going to love yourself?

Did you know that having a regular exercise routine can help you love yourself more?  The benefits of the endorphin rush are more than physical–they have a powerful emotional impact too.

You feel accomplished–nothing like overcoming a challenge! Is there a time when you completed something you never thought you would?  I remember finishing my first half-marathon, my first 10 mile run, my first 5 mile run…heck, even completing my first 1 mile run!!  Competing in my first figure show was a huge accomplishment–getting that lean was a big deal for me.  Then competing in my 2nd show, leaner and with more muscle and placing 3rd instead of dead last–THAT FELT SO GOOD!

You sleep better–exercise releases endorphins that help you relax.  Just make sure you aren’t working out withing 30 minutes of bedtime!

Exercise will also help you feel better in your own skin!  Losing your baby weight, for example, helps you feel more like your pre-baby self.  It helps you feel sexier for your spouse.  It helps your clothes fit better.

Exercising helps me feel better, fighting my fibromyalgia.  No, it’s not always easy, and yes, it does hurt and I have to really do a lot of stretching because I get very tight.  BUT exercise is actually one of the best things to do for fibromyalgia.  Regular exercise gets easier as you get stronger.  It helps boost energy–fibromyalgia is also called “chronic fatigue syndrome.”  As much as I have fought it in the past, getting up early and doing something active helps the rest of my day TREMENDOUSLY.

These are just a few of the ways exercise helps you love yourself.  Why don’t you join me in my February Success Group, where we will show ourselves some love?  Contact me and let’s get you started!  Space is limited and deadline to get in is Saturday 2/3/2018!
