Oh my goodness.  It’s August.  August 7, to be exact.  July flew by!

So I did start Shift Shop.  I did a couple days of it.  I didn’t feel like I connected with it, although I did feel like it was a great workout (I was sore the next day!).  It’s a great workout to move from move to move, from one exercise to the next, to the next, to the next…..  Definitely check it out! (30 day  money-back guarantee–you have NOTHING to lose except a few pounds 🙂 )  It’s part of BeachBody On Demand, so you only need wifi to get a great workout.

So my July goals really didn’t happen.  I started Shift Shop, and stopped midway through the first week because I needed to listen to my body and take a few days to relax.  As tends to happen, those few days turned into the rest of the month.  Here we are, a week into August already, so now it’s time to get back on the wagon!  I can not fail–unless I fail to take action.  I can not fail if I take action.  That action starts today.

Doing the week of Shift Shop reminded me of the types of workouts that I enjoy.  I enjoy repeated rounds of moves–a la INSANITY, or Focus T25.  I loved Shaun Week.  SO, with a month until my cousin’s wedding in Vail, I believe it’s time to break out Insanity Max: 30 again, and get to it.  I will get the first month completed before the wedding, which will be good.  I feel fairly happy as far as my weight goes, but I definitely want to tighten up, and add some muscle.  Keeping my nutrition on point will be crucial (I actually did well this month which is why my July wasn’t totally wasted–Hubby and I drank no alcohol which was super helpful in beating the fluff).

I’m looking for accountability partners.  If you’re looking to do work–not necessarily IM30 with me, I will help you find your dream program!–this month, to finish out the summer on a high note, apply here!  We’ll start out with 3 weeks of accountability, check-in, measurements…it’s a great way to get into healthy habits, and get energized for back to school!
